SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 VS HTC ONE X

WHO IS GOING TO BE  ‘KING OF THE RING’

     

Before android hit the market no body had thought that Samsung and HTC would ever get good positions in mobile phone world . But now they are two top competitors. they both have released a number of android running low end to high end mobile phones. Samsung’s  galaxy series like well known galaxy s, galaxy ace, galaxy y, and HTC’s wildfire series  and  desire series are some of them.this time again they both are in the ring with their best quad core players, Samsung with GALAXY S3 and Htc with ONE X, who is going to win lets have a look.  

Samsung’s galaxy s3 and HTC’s one x, both are high end phones, equipped with quad core processors, both have 1 GB of RAM, 8 Mega Pixel primary camera, both works on micro sim cards, both have android ice-cream sandwich out of the box, both are nearly of equal dimensions.both are excellent phones and it’s really hard to pick a winner.

Lets talk about specifications that are not common

• BODY AND APPEARANCE:

ONE X have polycarbonate uni-body having a matte

appearance while  Samsung s3 is made up of glossy plastic. here HTC has  got an edge.

• DISPLAY: 

GALAXY S3 has got Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and on the other hand ONE X has Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen. IPS LCD2 is brighter and have better contrast ratio than Super AMOLED. on the other hand  Super AMOLED’s non-reflectivity gives GALAXY S3 an edge over ONE X. for protection they both have corning gorilla glass gen2.

 

• MEMORY:

This is the department where galaxy s3 has a real edge over HTC one x, because HTC ONE X has no slot for micro SD card and only have 32GB of internal memory, on the other hand  Samsung galaxy s3 is expandable to 64GB and also having internal memory of 16/32/64GB (according to there price)

• CAMERA:

Both handsets have same 8MP primary camera with 1080 p video recording but,  GALAXY S3 has 2MP and ONE X has 1.3MP front facing cameras

• PROCESSORS:

both the phone are equipped with quad cores processors ,but both of them are from different makers, Samsung uses its own EXYNOS processors while ONE X uses NVidia’s TEGRA 3 technology. we did a brief review about the quad core processors in “ the war between quad core processors “.

 

• GPU (GRAPHICS PROCESSING UNIT):

        The Samsung Galaxy S III relies on a Mali-400MP GPU. The One X has an NVIDIA GPU.The Galaxy S III shows the best 3D performance yet, with an 11fps lead over the HTC One X. Quadrant is a composite benchmark (it tests CPU, GPU and I/O). The Galaxy S III easily got the top score here, having a nice lead over the HTC One X in terms of general performance.

• BATTERY:

The HTC One X comes with a pretty large 1800 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S III comes with an even more impressive 2100 mAh .

FINAL WORDS:

Which one is better it  completely depends on you, you want a beautiful well built phone, or an ugly but powerful beast. Looking at specifications I will suggest galaxy s3 but when it comes to price, HTC is  cheaper than galaxy s3. if you are having an eye on money then go for HTC ONE X .
