SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTEPAD 10.1
There is a strong competition going on between technology giants SAMSUNG and APPLE as both are coming up with something new and different time after time. This battle again catches up fire when SAMSUNG rolled out its 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Note which has some serious horsepower under the hood although it is the modified version of SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB but the modifications seemed good and sensible to attract more tablet geeks and expand their market.
Lets look at the video to see what SAMSUNG has come up with.
I hope you guys did enjoy the video now we will discuss the features and interesting aspects of this amazing new notepad.
Samsung’s new tablet weighs about 1.32 pounds and is just 0.35-inches thin, compared to the iPad’s 0.37-inch profile and 1.44-pound heft.
BODY AND APPEARANCE
But that thinness comes at a price, PCWorld’s review dinged the 10.1 for a plastic chassis that felt “inexpensively made.” Both The Verge and The New York Times said the plastic back flexes when you hold it.
It features a 10.1 WXGA display with 1280-by-800 resolution
The GALAXY Note 10.1 packs a 1.4GHz Exynos 4 quad and 2 GB RAM
It has 7,000 mAh lithium-ion battery.PCWorld’s tests were able to squeeze 8 hours 24 minutes out of the device during video playback with a brightness of 200 candelas.
It has 5 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 1.9 megapixel front camera for video calls
The NotePad 10.1 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and also SAMSUNG is working on ANDROID 4.1 so do not get surprise if you go through the news that you can get the same notepad with ANDROID 4.1 too.
It is available with either 16 GB or 32 GB of onboard storage and also microSD card slot (supports up to 64GB)
MULTI TASKING FUNCTIONALITY
Note 10.1’s optimization for use with Samsung’s S Pen stylus and its Multi screen feature, which delivers the very useful ability to run two apps side-by-side on the same screen and crop and drag images from one app to another without toggling between screens.
Samsung is set to aim the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at artists and creative people, who want to draw, edit, manipulate images and create, rather than consuming video, games and apps- which of course, you can do as well. And most critics, even those who didn’t like the Note 10.1, are saying the stylus is very responsive.Actually the Note 10.1 comes preloaded with Adobe Photoshop Touch and S Note, an app that optimizes hand-written notes and sketches. You can use the S-Pen’s many, many pressure levels to help you create different effects on the page, and cutting or moving objects is superbly easy. When we did make a mistake, with a drawing or note taking, turning the S-Pen upside down meant it could be used an as eraser, which was a very natural experience.
Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 port,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and an IR blaster
The 16 GB and 32 GB versions of the GALAXY Note 10.1 are priced at US$500 and $550 respectively.
I will give credit to SAMSUNG for coming front with very balanced modifications on SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB .It surely will help them to boost their market.
