LG OPTIMUS VU

After the hugely positive feedback from the KOREAN and JAPENESE people LG is all set to introduce its new OPTIMUS VU worldwidely in the coming september.Korean technology giant company is expecting that the 5 inch 4:3 aspect ratio IPS display smart phone is going to take all the attentions of the people as it has its advantages over its competitors.

Lets have a look at this video to see how good this smart phone is

Now we go into more depth to know what LG is offering to the people.

DISPLAY

LG OPTIMUS VU

IPS display with 1024 x 768 resolution pixels .LG claims that they uses their screen to tha maximum capacity as there is no dead space on the screen when reading magazines or e-books.

DIMENSION

LG OPTIMUS VU

LG OPTIMUS VU

The Optimus Vu is slightly wider (90.4 vs 83mm) than the Galaxy Note due to the standard ratio aspect 4:3 display that LG is using. It is also faintly thinner (8.5 vs 9.7mm) and lighter (168 vs 178g) than its competitor. Optimus Vu is too wide as you will need both hands if you want to tap out a message on the qwerty keyboard.

PROCESSOR

NIVIDIA LG OPTIMUS VU

It is equipped with 1.5GHz NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 dual-core processor which helps to run your application smoothly

MEMORY AND STORAGE

It has no card slot which i must say is a thing to worry about but never the less they have given a bulky 32 GB internal storage for the mobile geeks to play with and 1GB RAM is considered good in my opinion.

BATTERY

LG BATTERY

It has 2080mAh Li-Ion battery. Although it will probably be just enough to keep the device running for the usual average 8 hours because of the big display and fast processor.

OPERATING SYSTEM

ANDROID 2.3.3 LG

It can be considered the bad point as the device will be preloaded with Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) at launch but a good news is that LG plans to release an Android 4.0 upgrade within three months’ time. So a little wait can let you buy a good package

CAMERA

CAMERA LG OPTIMUS VU

It has Front 1.3 MP Camera (1280×1024 Pixels) with , Digital Zoom and Rear 8.0 MP Camera(3264×2448 Pixels) with Auto Focus and LED Flash

PEN

LG OPTIMUS PEN

LG have left no space in the design so that the STYLUS technology pen can also be fit with the phone you have to manage moving it with the phone separately.

HOW TO USE PEN

LG OPTIMUS VU

Press the Quick Clip Hotkey on top of the Optimus Vu and you will be able to use the stylus to handwrite over the screen.

QUICK MEMO

LG OPTIMUS VU

QuickMemo allows users to take a screen grab of any type of displayed content (such as web pages, graphical images, photos and videos for example) and then add personal graffiti to whatever’s been captured using a finger or stylus. QuickMemo notes can be shared with others via text, chat or email.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Their features include LTE, WiFi Direct, HDMI and DLNA support. Alert types Vibration, MP3, WAV ringtones Loudspeaker Yes 3.5mm jack Yes – Dolby mobile sound enhancement, Video Yes, Email, Push Emai, GPS

FINAL WORDS

As after the not expected response for SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTEPAD 10.1, I have to admit that although LG hasnt considered some vital points during the making even then their smart phone LG OPTIMUS VU will manage to do smart business around the world. The price isnt finalized yet but a friendly price range can also boost its popularity.
