Yesterday Apple has released the date for launching event of iphone5. This event is scheduled for Wednesday 12 September. There is so much expectations attached to this coming smart phone from Apple that even we are seeing so much prediction coming from different analysts and experts.Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster is also in the line praising upcoming iphone 5 with bright hopes saying there are strong possibilities that Apple could sell 10 million new iPhones in the first week of iPhone 5 sales and this prediction looks very much likely to be happen as there is there is so much pent up demand for the iPhone 5.
I think he is very right in his judgement as
- Apple sold 4 million iPhone 4S smartphones in the first three days after it went on sale last year. There were 1.7 million iPhone 4 sales in the first three days, reports Apple Insider. As you all observed that the market response this time is more better it simply indicates that some thing more substanial for Apple to achieve this time.
- We are coming across news like Apple is going to offer 4G, new Airplay Direct technology, better battery life, and new headphones. This will make more and more people interested in this product.
One thing is sure if Apple achieves the predicted targets before the end of its fourth quarter on 30 September it will be a huge milestone achieved by Apple as it could push up iPhone sales to 28 million for the quarter, exceeding expectations of between 22 million and 23 million. Apple sold 26 million iPhones in its third quarter, which ended on 30 June.
Apple is offering £300 for iPhone 4S ahead of iPhone 5 launch which is a clear indication that iphone5 is coming soon but at the same time there are some reports of delays in iPhone screen manufacturing at Sharp that creates question mark on when Apple’s iphone5 will be available for sale.Anyways it is expected that the phone will go on sale on Friday 21 September.
