ARSENAL VS CHELSEA: MATCH PREVIEW:
In form Arsenal side will take top of the league team Chelsea in the early kick off game of Barclays Premier League this Saturday.
Arsenal had a slow start of the season with two goal less draw against Sunderland and Stoke City at Emirates and Britannia respectively, but after that they have picked 7 points of maximum nine including 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield, 1-1 draw at Etihad and 6-1 victory over Southampton. Arsenal’s defence is the joint most resilience defence in Premier League, conceded only 2 goals in 5 matches with 3 clean sheets in their opening 3 fixtures.
Arsenal fans have a good news, Jack Wilshere is back from injury after 14 months absence, but he won’t be involved in Chelsea’s match due to lack of match fitness. Wojciech Szczesny is still out due to ankle injury, Vito Mannone will start the match, Bacary Sagna is still out due to broken leg, no more injury concerns for Arsenal’s side and Arsene Wenger will probably start the same line-up which he used last week against Manchester City.
Chelsea had the best of start of Premier League and are currently standing at top of the table, 4 wins out of five and a draw is their performance so far in the Premier League. Chelsea has joint best defence in Premier League with Arsenal, only conceded 2 goals so far including four clean sheets in 5 matches.
Chelsea has no injury concern except Daniel Sturridge who is out because of Hamstring injury, the only bad news for Chelsea fans is that FA have banned their captain John Terry for four matches because of his racial comments against Anton Ferdinand, so he won’t be starting against Arsenal, Gary Cahill and David Luiz are likely to play as centre backs with Ivanovic and Ashley Cole on full back positions. Roberto Di Matteo has a strong squad to choose from to play against good looking Arsenal side. Oscar is likely to start again after his good performances against Juventus and Stoke City. Mata and Hazard will be giving support to Fernando Torres, while Frank Lampard can be given a start against Arsenal. Mikel will retain his place as defensive midfielder.
Both sides have conceded the fewest goals so far, but both sides are pretty capable to break each others defence.
