Motorola should have released this ICS update to gain the confidence of their costumers, now the users of these three devices who are still on contract would only have custom roms like Cynogenmod to enjoy with.

  1. Yeah, this blows. If Motorola had never announced the planned upgrade, I would have been just disappointed. But to have it publicly planned for months, then to cancel without any announcement or explanation is cold and aloof. The actions of people who don’t care about their customers or their brand reputation.

  2. #motofail

They broke a commitment, plain and simple.

  3. This hurts both the provider and phone mani. You sell a phone that can be upgraded, but choose not to provide an upgrade. I’m going to demand my provider (Sprint) permit me to break my contract without a penalty. I doubt they will but if enough of us make it an issue, providers (i.e. Sprint) can force handset makers to provide upgrades for at least 2 years while a handset is under warranty.

  4. Last Motorola phone I’m buying

  5. Sir i want to apdate my phone with android 4.0 ice cream its right or not give me answer
