INJURY BOOST FOR MANCHESTER UNITED AS SMALLING AND YOUNG ARE FIT TO PLAY AGAINST STOKE CITY:
Manchester United have received a huge injury boost as defender Chris Smalling and winger Ashley Young are back from their injuries to face Stoke City on Saturday.
Chris Smalling has been out since last game of last season against Sunderland due to groin injury and then sustained an injury in pre season, where he broke his foot. The Centre back returned to full training last week at Carrington and is fit to play against Stoke City at Old Trafford this Saturday. Sir AlexFerguson has received a huge boost with the return of Chris Smalling, as Rio Ferdinand and Johnny Evans, were only Centre backs available for Manchester United.
Ashley Young suffered a knee injury against Fulham back in August and has missed eight games since then, but is now back in full training and will be available against Stoke City this Saturday. Comeback of Ashley Young is also a huge boost for Manchester United as Nani and Antonio Valencia are still missing their top form on wings.
