FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE: GAMEWEEK 8 PREVIEW
Let’s take a preview at Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 8, what are hottest choices to bring in your team, based on their recent form, for this gameweek, let’s take a look of every match.
TOTTENHAM VS CHELSEA:
Steven Caulker handed 15 pts to his managers last gameweek, though it is very difficult to keep a clean sheet for him this week, but as a goal threat and with a value of only 4.7, he can be a very good option to bring in the team.
Chelsea’s Juan Mata has made 4 assist and scored a goal in his last 4 matches and is a very good option, though his value is not very cheap, but right now he is the best inform midfielder of Chelsea.
Chelsea’s have managed to keep 4 clean sheets and additional attacking qualities of Branislav Ivanovic with 3 goals and 1 assist so far, has made him the most wanted defender of FPL.
FULHAM VS ASTONVILLA:
In the absence of Mahamadou Diarra, Chris Baird, who is actually a defender in FPL, is filling the role of Diarra as CDM, and Fulham is very likely to keep clean sheet against struggling Aston Villa at Craven Cottage, with a value of 4.4, Chris Baird is a good choice to keep in the team.
Dimitar Berbatov will be back in starting 11, and with a value of only 7, he can give both goals and assist to his managers.
LIVERPOOL VS READING:
Luis Suarez scored a hat-trick and made an assist against Norwich. Reading has failed to keep a clean sheet so far this season, and as the only Liverpool striker, it is very much possible for Luis Suarez to score against Reading.
Steven Gerrard has scored twice in last 3 games, and in this goal scoring form, he is worthy of being in the team of Fantasy managers.
MANCHESTER UNITED VS STOKE CITY:
Johnny Evans scored his 2nd goal for Manchester United last gameweek, and in the absence of Smalling, Jones and Vidic, he is the only one to start with Rio Ferdinand, with a value of only 5.8, he is a very good choice to bring in the team.
Robin Van Persie has scored 5 goals and made 2 assist so far this season, though he has not scored in his last 2 games, but with a home game coming against Stoke City, he is very likely to score a goal.
Wayne Rooney has made three assist since coming back from injury, and we all know his goal scoring qualities, but he is yet to score this season, with a home game coming, he will be eager to open his goal account.
SWANSEA VS WIGAN:
Wayne Routledge scored a goal and made an assist last gameweek, and has scored 2 goals and made 4 assist so far this season, with a value of only 5.2, he is currently 4th best midfielder of FPL.
In absence of Neil Taylor, Ben Davies is playing as a LB for Swansea, valued only 4 and with a home game, he can be a good choice in defense.
Arouna Kone has scored 2 goals and made an assist in his last three games, valued only 6.5, he can be a good option in attack.
WESTBROM VS MANCHESTER CITY:
James Morrison has scored a goal and made 2 assist in last two matches, valued only 6.0, he can be a long term option in midfield.
Sergio Aguero has scored 2 goals in his last 2 appearances since his return from injury, and with a game against Westbrom, he is very likely to score again.
WESTHAM VS SOUTHAMPTON:
Westham have kept 2 clean sheets in 4 home games this season, O’brein, Demel and Reid are still doubtful for the match, McCartney, valued 3.9 played full match against Arsenal and will be a good option to bring in the team.
Andy Carroll is back from injury and gave a good performance against Arsenal, he is yet to score this season, and this is best game for him to open his account.
NORWICH VS ARSENAL:
Grant Holt scored 2 goals in last 2 matches against Liverpool and Chelsea, with a value of only 6.0; he is a good goal scoring forward to keep in team.
Santi Cazorla has scored 2 goals and made 3 assist so far and is currently joint 4th best midfielder of FPL, he can be a long term option for midfield of any team.
SUNDERLAND VS NEWCASTLE:
Steven Fletcher has scored 5 goals in 5 starts for Sunderland, and with the value of 7.4, he is currently one of the best attacking options.
Demba Ba is the leading goal scorer of BPL and is currently best forward of FPL, everybody knows his goal scoring abilities, selected by 30% of the teams; he is the most wanted striker of FPL right now.
QPR VS EVERTON:
Adel Taarabt has scored 2 goals in his last 2 appearances and is looking to regain his goal scoring abilities, valued 5.5; he can be a very good option in midfield.
Leighton Baines has scored 2 goals, made 2 assist and kept 2 clean sheets this season, and has been very consistent so far, highest valued defender of FPL, but he is worth keeping in the team.
Nikica Jelavic has scored 3 goals and made an assist since his return from injury, if he continues his goal scoring form, he is one of the best choices for attack.
